How to get bike driving license in Dubai

Step 1: Visit Al Ah Driving School
In the first step you have to visit Al ahli Driving School for training. It is advisable to visit on Saturday around 8 a.m. When it is not a busy time. Hair on the counter you have to submit some necessary documents like your passport, visa, driving licence as well as Emirates ID. And at the same time on the counter you have to make the payment.
This license will cost Dh 4690, which will include all practical lessons, theory tests, lectures paperwork and the test itself. Keep in mind that the practical lessons will held only on Saturday and Friday for 2 hours per day.
Each student has to complete 15 hours of practical sessions in order to give practical test. At the centre, you will also need to do an eye test which you can do at the same day and you will be provided with learner’s permit.
Step 2: Attend a total of eight hours of lecture
A lecture consisting of 8 hours long period that held in Al Ahli Driving School is necessary for every candidate before getting onto the bike. You will be given a schedule of the timings of lecture. Where you are free to choose the timing that best suits your routine. As a proof of attendance, your teacher will stamp your learners permit after each lecture.
After decision of eight hours of lecture, you will have one week pass your theoretical test.
Step 3: Sit for the theory test
In the third step, you have to give theory test which will consist of 40 questions. You have to give 30 or more correct answer in order to pass theoretical test. This whole test will be taken in 45 minutes. After you have passed the theory test you can move for the practical test.
Step 4: Attend 15 hours of practical lessons
In order to proceed for the practical test you have to complete a total of 15 hours of lecture a practical lessons. This practical lessons will be done at Al Ahli Driving School. This lecture will consist of different parts like in the first lesson you I will learn about the necessary parts of bike like key, headlights, indicator, fuel switch and horn etc.
After this you will learn more things and the practical lessons which will involve reading around the yard, different curves, emergency spots, turning and indicating.
After you have successfully completed 12 hour of practical lessons, you will be taken to the roads of Al Quoz. Here, you have to write the bike according to the instructions and rules that are adviced to you in the whole theory lessons. Don’t be panic. Because you will be guided and instructed at the same time by your instructor. And he will help you to correct your mistakes you make at the time of riding bike.
Step 5: Pass Al Ahli Driving School Assessment
You have to pass the internal assessment in the yard as well as on the road in order to set for the official RTA test.
Step 6: Pass RTA tests
After you have successfully passed the assessments, the Al ahli Driving School will book to RTA tests for you. One test will be on the road and the other will be in the yard.
If you pass both of RTA tests you will get bike licence and will be able to right bike freely on the roads of the way. But if you fail to pass the RTA test you have to rebook your test again.
